Institutional Effectiveness

Mission Statement

The Office of Institutional Effectiveness supports the mission of Southeastern University through assessment, planning, research, reporting, accreditation support and the integration of technology to promote a culture of data-informed decision-making, accountability and quality enhancement.

Academic Assessment Implementing a comprehensive program of goal creation, evaluation of assessments and the use of results for quality enhancement

Strategic Planning  Executing a campus-wide planning system through which all departments align their goals with those of the university through the use of data

Program Review  ​Guiding academic units to assess learning outcomes, curriculum, teaching methodologies, assessment and administration practices

Research & Reporting  ​Collecting, analyzing and reporting data to support decision-making processes, external data projects and internal requests for information

Technology  Innovating and integrating the use of technology for academic assessment, strategic planning, program review, and research and reporting

​Accreditation Support  Assisting with accreditation activities, notifications, prospectuses, applications and quality enhancement processes

Coordination of Efforts  Consistently communicating with the campus community through membership on various committees and cross-functional teams
